I found this website that links volunteers with organizations and vice versa. It is primarily for the USA, however, there are "virtual" opportunities for working over the world wide web.

Hi Silentpoet,
Thanks for your comment. I checked out your blog and I like the energy and style of your writing. That's the great thing about blogging - you don't need any experience at it, you just need to choose what you want to blog about and keep posting regularly. And you are doing that. So keep up the good work!

I like your site guys. I started a my blog a month ago which also focuses on the world. I am graphic designer but I think I have a lot to say that might help a few people to think openly and positively and be socially aware thats the least I can do.

I do not have much experience in this type of thing so it would be vital to be in contact with guys like you so I can learn the ropes on making a difference using my blog you know. I was drawn to your site by the Mettafix song about Living Dafur which touched me coz it does make a difference too. Your response would be marvelous. Thank you.

Thanks David for the reply. I checked out the site and like it very much. There is so much going on globally with a shift in consciousness yet there are still so many people who just don't "get it." Keep up the good work spreading awareness.

Hey Alexis,
We are all web people who work in different sectors (I am in digital entertainment, Chris is at Comic Relief but also founded iSporty.com, Lily and Tim workson a number of Future's sites including Tech.co.uk and BikeRadar.com). We share a similar passion based on finding and highlighting the people and technologies that are trying to make a real positive difference to the world. We love finding that little piece of genius somewhere on the web that is making an enormous difference to the people it is intended to help.

Hmm..this site is very curious to me. I just stumbled upon you when I was searching for Annie Lennox and Sport Relief. I created a Sport Relief fundraising page in support of her SING Campaign and efforts raising awareness about the HIV and AIDS pandemic in South Africa. This comment is not a solicitation but you can check it out at www.mysportrelief.com/singteam

Chris’ post about becoming the Creative Communications Director of Comic Relief popped up. So here I sit…wondering….who are you and what is the site all about?

Perhaps I will poke around for awhile.

I prefer using Darkoogle <a href="http://www.darkoogle.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.darkoogle.com</a> another black Google and is available in over 40 countries <a href="http://www.darkoogle.com/international" rel="nofollow">http://www.darkoogle.com/international</a>

Best of all its got the 'similar page' option in the result page like the normal white Google. I use that a lot.
